French 19th Century Oil or Vinegar Jar

This exquisite C19 Provençale ‘Jarre’ is wonderful in size and it’s glowing glaze is mottled brown and mustard making it an extremely attractive piece to style any modern rustic interior or garden room. Having been used as a functional C19 earthenware piece there are various marks and a chip on the rim but these in no way detract from the charm of the piece as they indicate its authenticity and rustic provenance.
