French 18th Century Carolean Armchair
This is an absolutely unique and stunning chair. It is both a wonderfully decorative and practical piece. This very comfortable and robust Carolean carved wooden framed armchair is richly upholstered with a vibrant hand-stitched tapestry cover depicting a charming idyll of a French hunting scene. We discovered this piece in mid France and were immediately captivated by its style and colour. The carving is exceptionally well done, the frame and upholstery are in very good condition and it would sit beautifully in any setting.
